Path format

DM folders use {username}-{userId}, for example /srv/discord-codex/dm-workspaces/thelonedark-258428379047526400. The user ID prevents collisions when usernames change.

Immediate enforcement

Permission changes apply to the next dashboard request and to new Discord messages. Disabled accounts are rejected without waiting for their current session to expire.
